Deactivation Policy

At RICEPO, we are proud to provide people across North America and Europe with stable work opportunities that allow them to be their own boss, make meaningful money, and meet new people.

As someone who delivers using the RICEPO platform, you will regularly interact with merchants and consumers. The most successful RICEPO drivers are able to perform deliveries quickly, efficiently, and professionally, providing a great experience for everyone on the platform and resulting in more deliveries per hour and more money. However, occasionally there are situations where a RICEPO driver engages in activity that harms the platform, which could lead to the RICEPO driver's account being deactivated.

We want to be clear, upfront, and transparent about the reasons an account may be deactivated and what RICEPO drivers can do about it. Below, you can find our deactivation policy and related process. If you have additional questions about RICEPO, please contact support@ricepo.com

Fail to follow the Shifts

RICEPO uses TRON to auto assign orders to drivers, and TRON is the algorithm that can assign drivers the highest number of orders in the industry. Because the delivery zone of RICEPO is smaller than most other delivery apps, RICEPO drivers can be assigned the highest number of orders per hour. It is clear that RICEPO drivers have the potential to make the most money in the food delivery industry.

As your own boss, you have the right to decline any delivery opportunity. However, RICEPO has a threshold that RICEPO drivers must maintain to continue using the RICEPO platform.


No show < 3 times

Late Drop Shift (48hours) < 5 times

Fail Rate before 9:00pm < 10%

Fail Rate after 9:00pm < 1%

You are responsible for monitoring your performance. However, as a courtesy we may let you know if your performance starts falling near the threshold level. If your performance is falls below the threshold, your account may be deactivated.


Keeping the Platform Safe and Secure

At RICEPO, the safety of RICEPO driver, merchants and consumers that use the RICEPO platform is paramount. We want to make sure you feel safe when performing deliveries, that merchants feel comfortable working with RICEPO, and that consumers never need to be concerned about opening their door to receive their order.

Creating an unsafe environment for anyone on the platform is grounds for immediate deactivation. These behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Violence or inappropriate behavior, including abusive language

  • Use of alcohol and drug

  • Discrimination or harassment

  • Unsafe driving or biking

  • Failure to comply with the law

  • Failure to pass a background check

Abusing the Platform

Much of the RICEPO platform rests on minimum business standards of integrity and fair dealing. We trust RICEPO drivers to use the app honestly and with integrity. Accounts of RICEPO drivers that abuse our services or engage in fraud will be deactivated. Examples of abuse and fraud include, but are not limited to:

  • Abusing the TRON system

  • Manipulating the referrals system

  • Tampering with deliveries or failing to maintain standards of food safety
